The huge burr oak trees and the architecture of the historic district, including the Allen House across the street ensure perfect and peaceful views to appreciate the diverse flora and fauna of the area. In Spring, the flowers burst into bloom, starting in about February.

In Autumn, the gentle falling of the multicolored leaves in the breeze reminds one of the harvest. In Winter, the lovely lights of the Wonderland of Lights Festival are visible for blocks. In Summer, nothing feels more like home than sipping a cold lemonade and listening to the cicadas roar every evening.
